Founder & Owner — Tommy Brodt, MBA
Leadership Rooted in Real-World Catheter Engineering
Tommy Brodt was most recently an R&D Director of Process Development and a Catheter Development Engineer at Inari Medical, now part of Stryker. During his time at Inari, Tommy helped design many next-generation thrombectomy catheters, developed patented manufacturing techniques, and trained dozens of R&D, Process Development, and Manufacturing engineers and technicians on advanced catheter manufacturing.
Prior to Inari, Tommy worked at Apollo Medical Extrusion Technologies (now Spectrum Plastics Group), where he designed, developed processes for, and manufactured hundreds of catheter systems—including multilumen catheters, robotic sheaths, steerables, and complex coiled and braided shafts.
With deep experience in both design and hands-on catheter manufacturing, Tommy founded CathTeam to give engineering teams the tools, training, and real-world knowledge they need to accelerate innovation.
